Beth E. Stanfield of Waukesha died peacefully Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 45. She was born in Waukesha on Sept. 13, 1962, the daughter of James and Arlene (nee Meidenbauer) Stanfield.

Beth was a graduate of the Wisconsin Hills Special Education program. She was a member of St. Maryﾕs Catholic Church in Waukesha. She was a longtime employee of the Waukesha Training Center and was an active participant in the Special Olympics for many years.

Beth will be sadly missed as the loving daughter of Arlene Stanfield of Waukesha; cherished sister of the Rev. William Stanfield of St. Francis, Charles (Christine) Stanfield of Brookfield, Susan Stanfield of Waukesha, Stephen (Jackie) Stanfield of Waukesha, Julie (Terrance) Pisarek of Eagle and Joel (Karen) Stanfield of Grand Rapids, Mich.; dear aunt of Christian and Caitlin Stanfield, Paul and Carl Stanfield, Cassandra, Dana and Emma Pisarek and Tyler and Bennett Stanfield; and great-aunt of Traevin Castro. She is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Lucia R. Stanfield, Robert (Marion) Stanfield, Maria McCabe, Lorraine Storck, Elizabeth McGeen, Marilyn (Al) Leisten and Walter OﾕMeara, along with her cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, Aug. 30, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186 (corners of Hartwell and Newhall avenues). The Rev. William Stanfield and the Very Rev. James T. Volkert will preside. Entombment will be at St. Josephﾕs Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
