Richard Charles Kuster

Richard Charles Kuster of Waukesha was called home to the Lord surrounded by the love of his family Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008. He was born in Milwaukee on July 30, 1922, the son of Ed and Marie Kuster.
Dick was united in marriage to Dorothy Zeisler on April 7, 1951. He played French horn in the Milwaukee Symphony and the American Legion Blatz Band, and first horn in the Waukesha Symphony when it began in 1947. He was retired from Best Engineering in New Berlin and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Dick was a longtime and faithful member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Dorothy; their children, Chris (Rick) Marshall, Marcus (Brie) Kuster, Kathy (Bob) Rink and Carrie (Gerry) Majeskie; his brother, Ron Kuster; and grandchildren, Michael, Melissa and Daniel Marshall, Kayla Kuster, Brittany, Lauren and Jennifer Buscemi, Rachel and David Rink and Angela Majeskie. He was also the special "Pa" to A.J. and Charlie.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. service of Christian burial Thursday, Dec. 11, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. The Rev. Arthur Koepsell will be officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha. Please meet at the cemetery office.
