Robert F. ĎBobí Eastman Sr.

Robert F. "Bob" Eastman Sr. of Waukesha died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at LindenGrove at age 87.

Bob married LaVerne (nee Schumacher) on Oct. 11, 1943. He served in World War II with the Army Air Corps. Bob worked for Met Life Insurance, retiring as a district manager after 34 years of service. He spent 25 years retired in Cape Coral, Fla. Bob was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and an American Legion member. Bob was an avid golfer, loved barber shopping and spending time at his lake home at Three Lakes, where he attended St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Bob will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years, LaVerne; son, Robert (Kathie) Eastman of Wales; daughter, Carol (Vern) Davidson of Lafayette, Ind.; six grandchildren, Julie (Lee) Stadler, Bill Eastman, Holly Eastman, Eric Davidson, Teresa (Andy) Fletcher and Wendy (Keith) Watson; and seven great-grandchildren, Breanna, Brooke, Maddie, Kaitlynn, Chloe, Drew and Sean. Bob is additionally survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 12, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Family Center N.W. Chapel, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, with the Rev. Leonard Barbian presiding. Interment with military honors will immediately follow.
