Frances M. King (nee Richmond)

Frances M. King (nee Richmond) found peace surrounded by her family Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at age 66. Frances was born in Oklahoma City and moved to Waukesha in 1977.

She was the beloved wife of 26 years to Bill; mother of Mark (Diane) Kleven, Michael (Christine) Kleven, Marty (Chris) Kleven, Mary Yakel (nee Kleven), William (Natalie) King and Christine (Scott) LaVoi (nee King); and loving grandmother to Christopher, Jennifer, Steven, Katie, Marty, Michelle, Travis, Nikolaus, Jacob, Emily and Gwendolyn. She is survived by her brothers, James and Gary Richmond, and sister, Dixie Vickers (nee Richmond).

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. A memorial service will be held at noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Rolland Nelson Crossing Hospice, 1020 James St., Hartland, WI 53029.

Remember the years

Of Laughter not tears

Life lessons she taught

Whether family or not

Is how she became a wonderful friend

Mother, grandmother and wife

Money can’t buy what I have each day

The love of our family

In an unconditional way

Miles never kept her from her family or friends

Those memories will be cherished

In our hearts to the end!
