Marvin N. Teuteberg

Marvin N. Teuteberg, 81, of North Prairie, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Marvin is the son of the late Nicholas and Lydia (Kruse) Teuteberg.

Marvin was a member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church in North Prairie where he was confirmed and married. He belonged to the Local 139 for operating engineers for 50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, and a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in the town of Genesee.

Marvin enjoyed spending time with his family hunting, fishing and going to their cottage. He was a great handyman and loved to fix things.

Marvin will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Norma; his four sons, Jeff (Victoria) of Palmyra, Kevin of Waukesha, Curtis of Waukesha and Bruce (Lisa) of Dousman; grandchildren, Melissa, David, Jessica, Lindsey and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Alex, Connor, Stephanie, Christopher, Brooqleen, James and Devin; and brother, Wolferd (Joyce) of Spooner. Marvin is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, 312 N. Main St., North Prairie. Visitation continues from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 23, at the church, with the Rev. Brady Finnern officiating.
