Mary J. Dalton, 75, of Oconomowoc, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Oconomowoc, the daughter of Howard C. and Irrene V. (nee Solverson) Lee.
She married John "Jack" Dalton on May 8, 1954. Mary was a former telephone operator and piano teacher, and she played organ for many area churches. She worked in the office at Bonded Spirits, Oconomowoc, and part time at the Mapleton Cheese factory.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Theresa) Dalton of Ixonia and Judy (Daniel) Wildes of Sullivan; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Zackary Schwefel and Danielle, Markus and Matthew Wildes; great-grandchildren, Tayanna and Landon Schwefel; sister, Carol (Howard) Hunt of Evansville; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Dalton.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the noon funeral service Saturday, March 1, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, W359-N8512 Brown St., Mapleton, with the Rev. David Verhasselt officiating. Burial will be at St. Catherine in Mapleton.
