Elizabeth A. Christianson

Feb. 18, 1943 - Feb. 24, 2008

Elizabeth A. Christianson of Mukwonago passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring, Fla. She was 65. Elizabeth was born in Waukesha on Feb. 18, 1943, the daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth (nee Colwill) Perkins.

She was a graduate of Mukwonago High School. On May 25, 1968, she married Hans Christianson at St. Johns Lutheran Church in North Prairie. Hans preceded her in death Nov. 6, 2000.

Elizabeth was an employee of Waukesha State Bank. She was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church in Waukesha, the Mukwonago Lioness Club and she was an avid crafter.

Survivors include her children, Beth (Gordy) Henke of Waukesha, Julie (Chris) Knaub of Germantown and Hans Jr. of Mukwonago; four grandchildren, Joshua, Robert, Ashley and Jacob; her mother, Elizabeth Perkins of Sebring; her brother, Ernest Jr. (Margie) Perkins of Grand Marsh; and other relatives and friends.

Her father, Ernest Perkins, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Monday, March 3, at Reformation Evangelical Lutheran Church, S39-W32887 Highway D, Dousman (highways D and E, town of Genesee). The Rev. John Borgwardt will officiate. Burial will be private at Vernon Lutheran Cemetery.
