James Ray Garrett

James Ray Garrett, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, from pulmonary fibrosis.

Jim was born Aug. 11, 1946, in Waukesha, to the late Edgar and Ruth Garrett.

Jim was an avid bowler; he and his son Sean were quite a team to beat. He also enjoyed the extensive traveling he did with his wife, Susan, and son, James.

Jim loved the outdoors and had a lifelong passion for fast cars and his Harley. Above all, he enjoyed the time shared with his family.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Susan; his two sons, Sean James (Di) and James Clinton (Samantha); grandson, Cole James Garrett; brothers, Mike, Allen (Carol) and Richard; and a sister, Bonnie (Ron) Tabat.

Jim moved to Arlington in 1980, where he spent the rest of his life.

Jim was laid to rest in Moore Memorial Cemetery on Dec. 28 with family and friends in attendance. Online condolences may be sent to www.mem.com.
