Josephine E. Sugden

Josephine E. Sugden of North Prairie, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Waukesha Springs at age 91. She was born May 6, 1916, in the town of Genesee, to Joseph E. and Elsie M. (nee Torhorst) Sugden.

She worked at Waukesha Motor Works for 40 years. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Waukesha and LaBelle Chapter #40 Order of the Eastern Star. She loved animals, baking angel food cakes, and in her younger years, was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her niece, Mary Lou (Phillip) Scott of Indiana, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

She went home to be reunited with her parents; brothers, Harry and Laurel; her nephew, Charles; and by her fiance, John Bingham.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, Jan. 18, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a funeral procession to the cemetery.
