June E. Elger (nee Scholbe)

June E. Elger (nee Scholbe) of Muskego went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at age 85.

She was the loving mother of Dr. Lee (Carol), Jerry (Monica) and David; grandmother of Brian, Kent, Allen, Kristy, Kevin, Carmen and Kimberly; and great-grandma of nine. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

June was a lifelong resident of Muskego. She was a member of the Muskego Woman’s Club and the Muskego and New Berlin historical societies. June was employed by the city of Muskego as deputy city clerk for many years and served under four mayors. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, S66-W14325 Janesville Road, Muskego. Internment and committal service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
