Ronald A. ĎRoní Miller

Ronald A. "Ron" Miller of Waukesha died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at age 79. Ron was born Aug. 10, 1928, the son of Vanson and Fay (nee Barrett) Miller.

Ron graduated from Solomon Juneau High School in 1946. He was united in marriage to Gloria (nee Nagler) on Oct. 17, 1953. Ron was a member of the Elkís Lodge #400 in Waukesha for more than 38 years. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1981. Ron was employed as a police officer for the city of Waukesha for more than 27 years until his retirement in 1983. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

Ron will be deeply missed by his wife, Gloria; daughter, Deborah (Michael) Przybylka of Peoria, Ariz.; son, Craig (Jodi) Miller of Waukesha; granddaughter, Terra Miller; brother, Larry (Paulette) Miller; and sister, Joyce (the late Wilbert) Stambaugh. Ron is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Vanson and Fay; brother and sister-in-law, Vance (Verna) Miller; and sister and brother-in-law, Fay Alice (Harold) Hinterberg.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 2, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Leonard Barbian will be officiating. Inurnment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
