WAUKESHA Nancy A. Gretzinger
(nee Braem) Sept. 17, 1936 - July
2, 2008 Nancy A. Gretzinger
(nee Braem) of Waukesha died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Waukesha Memorial
Hospital at age 71. Nancy was born Sept. 17, 1936, the daughter of
Paul and Mabel Braem. Nancy was united in
marriage to the love of her life, William Gretzinger, on June 8, 1957. She
was a longtime member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Waukesha, and
was an active member in the church choir. Nancy was employed as a nurse
for many years and retired from Marian Franciscan as an assistant
administrator and vice president of nursing. She loved gardening,
especially roses. She also enjoyed singing, shopping and collecting
angels. Nancy’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandkids. Nancy will be deeply
missed by her husband, Bill; children, Mark (Cheryl) Gretzinger, Brenda
(Paul) Cooper and Denise (David) Schmitz; grandkids, Amanda, Alexis,
Jacob, Jennifer, Emily, Joshua, Michael and Nicholas; and sisters, Karen
Hanousek and Sue (Tom) Stoll. Nancy is further survived by other relatives
and many friends. She was preceded in
death by her son, Paul, and her parents.
Visitation will be
held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at Cesarz, Charapata &
Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Visitation
continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, July 7,
at the funeral home, with the Rev. Timothy Bruss officiating. Private
family burial will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
