Gordon D. Pieper

Gordon D. Pieper of Tomah, formerly of Waukesha, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center at age 77. Gordon was born in Waukesha on June 20, 1931, the son of Reinhard and Amanda Pieper.

He was a member at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Gordon was employed as an auto mechanic at Kuettner Oldsmobile for many years and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.

Gordon will be deeply missed by his sister, Lois Burke of Hobe Sound, Fla., and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents.

The graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. The Rev. Art Koepsell will be officiating. Meet at the cemetery office.
