Frankie (nee Boyd) Sailer, 72, of Delafield, was reunited Friday, July 25, 2008, with Leon, her husband of 50 years who has been waiting for her in heaven since Oct. 16, 2006. She was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Salado, Texas, the daughter of the late James and Opal Boyd.
She and Leon married May 16, 1956, in Austin, Texas. Frankie worked as a home health aide for Lutheran Social Services and also provided child care in her home for many years. Her laughter and fun spirit brought joy to all of her friends and family.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Theresa) of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four daughters Sherry (Jim) Otto of Harshaw, Chris (Larry) Hudson of Delafield, Becky (Ron) Heulitt of New Braunfels, Texas, and Carol Sailer of Montello; sisters, Minnie May Easley, Wilma Fulton and Mary Lou (Troy) Hill, all of Temple, Texas; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the noon memorial service Saturday, Aug. 2, at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, 101 N. Second St., Tomahawk.
The family thanks her "second family" at Heartland Health Care Center in Pewaukee for the care she received from Season's Hospice.
