Jeannette M. Sutkiewicz

Jeannette M. Sutkiewicz of Waukesha died peacefully Monday, July 28, 2008, at her home with her husband and children at her side at age 80. Jeannette was born Aug. 12, 1927, in Oak Park, Ill., the daughter of Frederick and Eleanor (Kelly) Prack.

Jeannette married Lambert "Bert" Sutkiewicz on May 5, 1956, at St. Symphorosa Catholic Church in Chicago. Jeannette worked alongside her husband at their family owned and operated accounting business, Midwest Accounting, until their retirement in 1992. The accounting business still remains in the family to this day. She was especially proud of her Irish heritage and loved all things Irish. Jeannette was a member of the Waukesha Rose Society, where she had served as past president. She had many award-winning floral arrangements. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Bert, and a very supportive and proud mother to their six children. Jeannette loved dancing, traveling, going to the casinos and spending time at their condo in Florida. She enjoyed cross-stitching, which she made and gave to her family and friends.

Jeannette will be deeply missed by her husband, Lambert "Bert"; children, Jerry (Faith) Sutkiewicz of Mukwonago, Janis (Jim) Tyler of the town of Genesee, Sharon (Dan) Bein of Waukesha, Fred (Angela) Sutkiewicz of Sheboygan, Linda Adams of Waukesha and Loretta (Peter) Tillema of Reedsburg; and 17 loving grandchildren. She is additionally survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Grace Jeannette Adams, siblings, Harold Prack and Charles Prack, Eleanore Nicka, and her identical twin sister, Genevieve Semple.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Cesarz, Charapata, & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Thursday, July 31, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Highway 59, Waukesha, with the Rev. James Loehr officiating. Interment will immediately follow at St. Paulís Cemetery, town of Genesee.
