Robert H. "Bob" Haack of Waukesha passed away peacefully at home after complications of chronic leukemia Wednesday, March 12, 2008. He was 71.

Bob had been employed at Fleming Co. as a driver. Prior to that, he had been with a subsidiary of Milwaukee Road. He retired in May 1999 with 25 accident-free years in Teamsters Local 200 in Milwaukee.

Bob is survived by his wife, Char; daughter, Michelle Hepp of Phoenix; special four-legged golden retriever, Buddy; and many friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, William; mother, Alma; and two brothers, William and Donald.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Morris Animal Foundation, 10200 E. Girard Ave., Suite B 430, Denver, CO 80231-5510, or the Humane Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated. Private interment will be held at Pinelawn Cemetery.
