Lehman A. Duckert of Tucson, Ariz., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008.

Lehman was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a Waukesha County Sheriff’s deputy for six years. He attended Carroll College in Waukesha and graduated with the Class of 1954 with a Bachelor of Science. He was a claims adjuster for various insurance companies. He was also golf professional from 1954 to 1970 and a member of the Wanaki Golf Club from 1970 to 1976 and the Naga-Waukee Golf Club from 1977 to 1986. He retired to southeastern Florida from 1986 to 2002 and then moved to Tucson in 2002.

He is survived by his children, Richard L. (Ana M.) Duckert and Karen (Brian) Uglow; brother, Chester J. Duckert; daughter-in-law, Judy Kraut; grandchildren, Joseph Kraut, Andrew Kraut, Cathy Schindler and Jennifer Duckert; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in eternal life by his wife of 46 years, Blanche.
