Eleanor A. Dudley, a longtime resident of Waukesha, died Thursday, March 20, 2008, at her home in Waukesha at age 58. Eleanor was born Aug. 31, 1949, the daughter of Lyle and Doris (Gable) Jorgenson.

Eleanor worked for many years for SBC Communications and enjoyed spending her time reading, traveling and shopping. One of her favorite things was to watch old classic television shows. The loves of her life were her grandsons and spending time with her family.

Eleanor will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Angie Dudley of Waukesha; two grandchildren, Jacob and Brandon; sister-in-law, Ellie (Steve) Poad; niece, Barb (Jason) Helker; nephew, Lyle (Julie) Jorgenson; lifelong close friend, Mary Phillips; and other relatives and many friends.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her son, Mike; parents; brothers, Donald and Howie; and an infant sister, Barbara Jo.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 26, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Dr. James Carlson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
