Delphine M. ‘Casey’ Casey

Delphine M. "Casey" Casey was born Christmas Day and rejoined Jesus on Good Friday.

Casey is affectionately known to the thousands of cancer patients and their families who encountered her incomparable nursing care during their treatment at St. Mary’s and Deaconess hospitals. She began her life’s journey in Iron Mountain, Mich., earning her degree in registered nursing from St. Mary’s School of Nursing.

Del devoted her life to her Savior. She courageously provided 24-hour care to her late husband, Bob, for the last 10 years of his life. The remaining years of her quietly extraordinary life were spent in service to others.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Pamela Penno), and her many friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 26, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Jason Lavann will be officiating. The committal service will immediately follow the Mass at 12:45 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
