Anthony J. ‘Tony’ Prelozni
Feb. 21, 1934 - March 24, 2008
Anthony J. "Tony" Prelozni of New Berlin passed away at home Monday, March 24, 2008, at age 74. Tony was born Feb. 21, 1934, to Stephen and Josephine Prelozni in Arlington Heights, Ill.
He graduated from Catholic Memorial High School and served for two years in the U.S. Army. Tony was a welder by trade for more than 30 years. He married Marion Tomsyck on Oct. 11, 1954. Tony loved nature, was an avid photographer, and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will always be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and big heart.
Tony will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Marion; sons, Jack Denham of Sheboygan and Michael (Lori) Prelozni; and daughters, Anna (Joseph) Garcia and Jean (Steven) Kollmann. He was the proud grandpa, "Papa," to Ryan (Heather) Calton, Dustin Calton, Brandie and Dallas Madrid and Elli Kollmann. He is also survived by a brother, Hank (Mary) Prelozni; sisters, Mary Anne (Bob) Crossman, Rose Mary (Frank) Peterson and Joan (John) Williams; sisters-in-law, Gail and Joan Prelozni; his dear lifelong friends, Tom and Polly Reynolds; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stephen, John and Alexander; and a sister, Lillian.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Friday, March 28, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1212 S. 117th St., West Allis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or to a charity of your choice.
