Gerald E. Allison, 75, of Oconomowoc, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Life Care Hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1933, in Milwaukee, to Hartzel Allison and Anna Rechlin.

Gerald married Carol Mainz on March 27, 1994. He was a tinsmith for Briggs & Stratton for 35 years and was in the Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening, painting and woodworking. He also loved his three "girls" (dogs), Annie, Sophie and Libby. He belonged to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Kevin Allison of Oconomowoc, Lydia (Mark) Wozniak of Dousman, David (Linda) Allison of Green Bay and Robby (Shannon) Brennecke of Oconomowoc; daughter-in-law, Cis Allison of Oconomowoc; brothers, Kent (Karen) Allison of West Bend and Roger (Carol) Allison of Waukesha; 11 grandchildren; and three great-children.

Gerald was preceded in death by his first wife, Marsha, and his infant brother, Timothy.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service today, May 2, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 209 W. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc. Burial will be at La Belle Cemetery.
