Dale Marsh Aug. 6, 1932 - May 4, 2008
Dale graduated with the Class of 1950 from Palmyra High School. He married Patricia (nee Thompson) on June 2, 1956, at St. Maryﾕs Catholic Church in Palmyra. He dairy farmed with his father, delivered dairy products in Racine and Kenosha counties for Pet Milk Co. of North Prairie, and when they closed down, he went to work for Waukesha Motor Co. In 1973, he purchased a milk vendor route from Golden Guernsey Dairy of Waukesha, and for 38 years he delivered dairy products to homes, schools, stores and nursing homes. During this time, he and his wife purchased a small farm on the south edge of Palmyra where they raised Polled Hereford cattle and Belgian horses. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia; his brothers, Philip (Carmen) Marsh of Whitewater and Thomas (Nancy) Marsh of Genesee Depot; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Mealyﾕs Funeral Home, 320 W. Main St., Palmyra. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at St. Maryﾕs Catholic Church, 919 W. Main St., Palmyra, with the Rev. Anthony Aakula officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maryﾕs Cemetery in Palmyra. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Rainbow Hospice in Jefferson or St. Maryﾕs Catholic Church in Palmyra. Aug. 6, 1932, the son of Lucian and Helen (nee Kramer) Marsh.
