Ralph W. Lurvey

Ralph W. Lurvey, 87, of Oconomowoc, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Shorehaven Health Center. He was born Jan. 31, 1921, in town of Ottawa, to Alfred Lurvey and Ada Stubbs.
Ralph married Virginia Albrecht on April 11, 1947, in Wauwatosa. He served in Europe during World War II with the U.S. Army, was an Oconomowoc High School graduate, coached little league and played Land oﾕ Lakes baseball. He was a mail carrier, a contractor and a carpenter.
Ralph is survived by his children, Doug (Jane) Lurvey of Delafield, Lee (Barbara) Lurvey of Oconomowoc and Jane (Bob) Schlosser of Oconomowoc; grandchildren, Wendy Shinn, Holly (Todd) Lindvall, Katie (Chris) Kuechler, Amy (Ashton) Chase, T.J. Baranek, Kelsey Lurvey, Kristin Schlosser, Tom Schlosser and Susie Schlosser; and great-grandchildren, Harrison and Owen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, May 14, at Delafield Presbyterian Church, 1851 Genesee Road, Delafield, with the Rev. Robert Jensen officiating. Burial will be in the City of Delafield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Delafield Presbyterian Church Remembrance Fund are appreciated.
