Marion E. ‘Dude’ Kutschenreuter

Marion E. "Dude" Kutschenreuter, a lifelong resident of Waukesha, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at AngelsGrace Hospice at age 86. Marion was born Jan. 6, 1922, daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Howard.

She was a charter member of St. William Catholic Church, a member of Christian Women and a member of Soat-Vergenz Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 721 Auxiliary. Marion enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Marion will be sadly missed by her daughter, Diane Fath of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her grandchildren, Lisa (Jeff) Wehr, Lindy Swain, Lesley Shepard and Leah (Ryan) Peterson; great-grandchildren, Harley, Grace and Jeffey Wehr, Holly, Amanda, Summer and Dustin Swain, Casey Corbett and Leo Peterson; grandson-in-law, Shawn Swain; and sisters-in-law, Sally Sinks, Ellie Martens and Irene Kutschenreuter. She is further survived by special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in 2002; her daughter, Joanne; her brother, Donald "Bub" Howard; and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The visitation will be followed by a VFW Auxiliary service and a Christian Women service. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Leonard Barbian officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
