Constance S. Weidner

Constance S. Weidner (nee Fransway), formerly of Waukesha and Winter, was born to eternal life May 22, 2008, at the age of 84. She was born Sept. 13, 1923, to John H. and Anna (nee Schenk) Fransway in Shawano.

Connie was raised in Milwaukee, where she met her beloved husband, Joseph L. Weidner, of Regal, Minn. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1997. They were married July 22, 1943, in the chapel at the Naval Training Center at Great Lakes, Ill.

Together, in Waukesha, they raised eight children. She was preceded in death by her precious son, Michael (Mary Lou) of Waukesha. She is survived by four daughters and three sons, Patricia (Thomas) Waite of Waukesha, Gerald (Georgiann) of Waukesha, Richard (Glenda) of Waukesha, Charles (Ramona) of Portage, Michelle (John) Stefanski of Sullivan, Theresa (the late Michael) Hochstetler of Sullivan and Mary Lee Weidner (Tom Allen) of Sheboygan.

She is the dear grandmother of Colleen (Tim) Brown, Rob (Tracy) Waite, Brandon, Jessica, Matthew (Angie), Paul (Jackie), Joe (Joy), Corrina, Danielle (fiance Dave), and Shane (Jenny) Hochstetler, Sara Hochstetler, Corrine Wieland, Lucas Allen and Jordan Hansen; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by three sisters, Dolores Matheny of Milwaukee, Betty Honeycutt of Fairfield, Calif., and Joanne Piszcezek of West Allis. Her sisters Rosemary Krull and Charlotte Graunke preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, May 27, at Church & Chapel, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94).
