Margaret M. Ruehmer

June 28, 1914 - May 25, 2008

Margaret M. Ruehmer of Waukesha went home to the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2008, at LindenGrove Health Care Center at age 93. Margaret was born in Pewaukee on June 28, 1914, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (nee Schmul) Wiedeman.

Margaret was a longtime volunteer for more than 25 years at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha. She was a member of the Dorcas Society and Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services. She enjoyed being a member of the ladies sewing club, doing handiwork and making crafts. Margaretís greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her daughter, Nancy (Dave) Shuff of Waukesha; grandchildren, Patricia Koehn, Douglas (Vickie) Rupp, Cynthia Rupp, Darren Shuff and Gary Shuff; and five great-grandchildren. Margaret is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Clarence Rupp; her parents; brother, Lester; and sisters, Pearl and Eleanor.

A funeral service for Margaret will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Glen Schaumberg will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the 6:30 p.m. service Friday at the church. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
