Inez E. Morris

Inez E. Morris, 92, of Oconomowoc, formerly of Dousman, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Shorehaven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Oconomowoc. She was born Aug. 4, 1916, in Waukesha, the daughter of Max and Elsie (nee Delzer) Savatski.

She was a 1933 graduate of Waukesha High School. On Nov. 26, 1947, she married Maldwyn W. Morris, who preceded her in death April 22, 2006.

Inez was a member of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years where she was involved in many different activities. She was a member of the Dousman Chapter of the Eastern Star No. 257, where she was a past Worthy Matron and she was also a past president of the Waukesha Women’s Club.

Inez will be dearly missed by her children, John "Jack" (Kathy) Morris of Quinnesec, Mich., Pamela (Dale) Nagle of Delafield, James (Charlotte) Morris of Dousman and Debra (Jim) Ware of Dousman; her 12 grandchildren, David, Kelly, Kristen, Michael and Matthew Morris, all of Florida, Jennifer (Mike) Meindel of Dousman, Emily and William Morris of Dousman, Kyla (Mike) Schmidt of Fort Atkinson, Tom (Danielle) Ware of Brillion, Nicolette (Andy) Holtz of Waukesha and Susan Ware of Dousman; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Iris Long of Rhinelander; sister-in-law, Doris Morris of Dousman; along with other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Maldwyn, Inez was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Hey.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Main St., Wales. Eastern Star services will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service, all at the church. Graveside services will follow at Salem Cemetery, Wales.
