Jacque E. ‘Buck’ Bohrman

Jacque E. "Buck" Bohrman of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Oconomowoc, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at age 87.

Jack was an entrepreneur, founding his own business, Bohrman Manufacturing Inc., located in Hartland. Prior to beginning his own company, he was a plant manager and vice president of Seaman Andwall, located in Ixonia and Milwaukee. He owned and operated Bohrman Steel of Milwaukee and Midwest Rubber of Deckerville, Mich. He designed the unique "Dive-O-Lin" as well as a variety of manufacturing equipment. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and had a passion for flying, obtaining his pilot’s license at age 65.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; his children, Pat (Jean) Bohrman of Mesa, Ariz., the late Michael Bohrman, Kelly Bohrman of Eagle, Dan (Jill) Bohrman of Oconomowoc, Tom (Kathleen) Bohrman of Nashotah, John Bohrman of Delafield and Mary Bohrman of Madison; his stepchildren, Rick (Judy) Miller of East Troy, Sue A. Williams of Oconomowoc and Michael (Heather) Williams of Oconomowoc; his grandchildren, Mike (Becky), Amy (Chris), Patrick (Kersta), Emily, Carley and Katie; and his stepgrandchildren, Chad (Laura), Tara (Gary), Bret (Brianne), Katherin (Matthew), Alexander, Eric and Logan. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, Cole, Paige and Mikey; stepgreat-grandchildren, Noah, Hailey, Grace, Chase and Bryce; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Violet Panetti, and his sister, Jacquelyn.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. memorial service Thursday, Oct. 9, at Abundant Life Apostolic Church, 995 S. Sawyer Road, Oconomowoc.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, East Troy or the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.
