Rose A. Yocum

Rose A. Yocum (nee Thomas) of Waukesha was called home Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at age 82. She was born in Waukesha on Sept. 27, 1926, to Anthony and Loretta Thomas. 

Rose is loved and survived by her daughter, Jodell Wrigley; granddaughter, Jenell Wrigley; and her sister, Ida Scremo. She is further survived by one brother, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Peter J. Wrigley; and three brothers.

Rose was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph ’s Catholic Church and member of St. Joseph ’s Christian Mothers. She was a retiree of Allis Chalmers after 38 years of dedicated service. Upon retirement, she worked as a cook at George Webb on Sunset in Waukesha for seven years.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the noon funeral service Monday, Oct. 13, at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery Chapel, S22-W22890 Broadway Ave. , Waukesha .
