Francis E. Gramling
Francis E. Gramling, 88, of Dousman, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008.
She is survived by her children, David (Marsha) Maule of Bonita Springs, Fla., Robert (Dorothy) Maule of Dousman, Thomas (Claudia) Maule of Dousman, William (Kathrin) Maule of Rhinelander and Sally Thompson of Harshaw; her daughter-in-law, Mary Maule of Shawano; and also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin (Bud) Gramling; son, Gerald Maule; parents; brother, John Hooseman; and sister, Mary Lou Melchert.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment to follow at the Town of Ottawa Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Bruno Church or the Dousman Order of the Eastern Star No. 257.
Francis ran the restaurant and drug store in Dousman in the 1960s and early ‘70s when she then went to work for Waukesha County as a supervisor in the printing department, where she retired from in 1985. Francis was also a member of The Order of The Eastern Star in Dousman, where she was formally Worthy Matron.
