Barbara Ann Wilcox

Barbara Ann Wilcox (nee Lawrence), 73, Manawa, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug, 30, 2008, with her loving family by her side.

Barbara loved camping at Casey Lake and playing cards with her family and friends at the Manawa Senior Center. Barbara was born in Waukesha and lived there all her life until moving to Manawa six years ago with her husband, Richard. Barbara was an affectionate and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her great joy was to be surrounded by her large family. She was more than a loving mother, she was a friend. Her laughter and comical personality will be greatly missed.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Richard, of 40 years; her children, Richard Beller of Waukesha, Sandra (Carl) Artz of Manawa, Patricia Beller of Waukesha, Timothy (Martha) Beller of Madison, Theresa (John) Blomiley of Eagle, Mark (Penny) Beller of Watertown, Rae Lynn (Dan) Belman of Merton, Richard Wilcox Jr. (Dawn) of Waukesha, Jeffrey (Sandra) Wilcox of Waukesha; sisters, Norma (Charles) Miklos, Geraldine (Bob) Cissne, Marjorie Smith, Wilma (Paul) Lawrence-Schroeder, and a brother, Allan Lawrence, all of Waukesha; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Woodrow and Dorothy (Schomer) Lawrence.

Relatives and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the 1:30 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Sept. 4, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
