Norman J. Muehleck

Norman J. Muehleck, 66, of Waukesha, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. He was born May 26, 1942, in Waukesha, a son of the late Philip and Johanna Muehleck, both of Germany.

Norman graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a degree in mechanical engineering. He began his career at Taylor Dynamometer and worked thereafter at Foley and Lardner of Milwaukee. He was an avid fisherman, shared with and carried on by his two sons. Norman loved sailing the Great Lakes, also carried on by his children. He was always an advocate of adventure and supported many historical conservancy causes.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joan E. Muehleck; two daughters, Sarah J. (Timothy) Tebbe of Shoreview, Minn., and Abigail J. Muehleck of Chicago; two sons, Jeffrey N. (Ramona) Muehleck of Olympia, Wash., and Christopher J. (Sarah) Muehleck of Stillwater, Minn.; and five grandchildren, Clara Tebbe, Graham Tebbe, Cormac Tebbe, Oliver Muehleck and Jonathan Muehleck. Other surviving immediate family include his brothers, Philip Muehleck and Gerald Muehleck.

Memorial visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service Saturday, Sept. 20, at St. Catherine of Alexandria, W359-N8512 Brown St. (Highway P), Oconomowoc.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to AngelsGrace Hospice or to a charity of their choice.
