Gary J. McNulty

Gary J. McNulty, 56, of Taylor and formerly of the Delafield area, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls. Gary was born Nov. 11, 1951, in Waukesha, to Mark and Anna Mae (Malone) McNulty.

Following his high school graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. He married Robin Thompson on June 11, 1988, in Amery. He was employed as a welder at Badger Stainless, formerly R & S Stainless, of Pigeon Falls for more than 30 years.

Gary enjoyed spending free time outdoors on his farm. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, lawn care, wood cutting and snow removal in the winter. He also enjoyed going for rides around the farm in his old Willys Jeep. Watching and caring for the birds around his home was another special interest of Garys.

Gary is survived by his wife, Robin; his dog, Sassy; his father, Mark McNulty of Taylor; his brother, Bill (Jan) McNulty of Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae McNulty; his mother-in-law, Helen Swenson; sisters-in-law; Ruby Lawman and Cecelia Moos; and his brother-in-law, Allen Bartlett.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Sept. 27, at Upper Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, in rural Taylor, with the Rev. LaMoine Jacobs officiating and military rites by the Hixton-Taylor American Legion Post No. 368. Cremation will follow the services.
