Curtis ‘Chee-z’ Rees

June 27, 1965 - April 2, 2009

Curtis "Chee-z" Rees of Oconomowoc died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the age of 43. Curtis was born in Springfield, Ill., on June 27, 1965. He was united in marriage to Jeannette on Oct. 14, 2000. Curtis enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar. He will be remembered for always being there for anybody who needed him.

Curtis will be deeply missed by his wife, Jeannette; children, TJ, Angelica and Brandon; granddaughter, Madelyn Allyse; mother, Vi (Ron) Pierce; stepmother, Barb Rees; grandmother, Eleanor Peters; sister, Kelly (Bobby) Ratliff and aunt, Linda (Ray) Wheeler. Curtis is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Rees.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Monday, April 6, 2009, at the Cesarz, Charapata and Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
