Juan L. Cruz May 13, 1936 - April 5, 2009
Cruz was a retired laborer. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Leonor P. Cruz of Bishop; daughters, Anna (Gilbert) Gutierrez, Rosemary Cruz and Yolanda (Pilar) Ortega, all of Waukesha, and Christina (Thomas) Paschal of Bishop; son, Israel (Theresa) Cruz of Waukesha; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fidensico Cruz and Ricardo Cruz of Texas and Pablo L. Cruz and Pedro L. Cruz of Waukesha; sisters, Maria (Cuca) Mendez and Carmen Perez of Waukesha and Elvira Garza, Consuelo Sanz and Vicky Lara, all of Texas; as well as two other sons, John Guajardo and Ernest Guajardo, both of Kingsville, Texas; and one other daughter, Milagros Guajardo of Kingsville. A Mass will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. today, April 18, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha. |

Texas. He was born May 13, 1936, in Harlingen, Texas, to Ricardo and
Dorotea Cruz.
