Viola Olga Spaulding (nee Pundsack) Jan. 18, 1922 - April 26, 2009
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; her son, Jerry; her brothers, Earl and Herbert; and her sister, Dorothy. Survivors include her son, Dennis (Jean) Spaulding; her daughter-in-law, Marie Carpenter; her stepdaughters, Joan Wisnieski and Jean Richardson; her sisters, Germaine (Mel) Pape, Betty (John ) Wollenzien, Joan Ferris, Bernice Knauer and Doris Smith; and her brother, Lloyd (Doris) Pundsack. Viola is further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Viola was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Waukesha, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Viola also enjoyed doing crafts, camping on weekends, going to Florida, rummaging with her sisters, shopping and going out to eat. Visitation for Viola will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service Wednesday, April 29, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road, Waukesha (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94). Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at Prairie Home Cemetery.
