Beverly A. ‘Bev’ Saran (nee Ball)
Beverly A. “Bev” Saran (nee Ball) of Waukesha died at home, surrounded by her family, Saturday, April 25, 2009, at age 57. She was the daughter of Ray and Eileen Ball.
On July 14, 1993, Bev married Dr. Dennis Saran. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, Waukesha. She died after only a few months from lung cancer. Her fight was brief but difficult. Her battle was an inspiration to all who cared for her. Note to Nona - now she has “suffered enough.”
As a child, she was active in Girl Scouts through high school. Working all her adult life, she was the office manager for Pediatric Healthcare since it began 22 years ago. In some sense, she was Pediatric Healthcare and will be sorely missed. She loved sun, convertibles and “Gone with the Wind.” She hated winter, exercise and excuses.
Bev is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis, who has lost his treasure; her loving mother, Eileen Ball; aunts, Rita Hagburg and Verle; her children, Brian and Karen Renzelmann (nee Schmidt), Brad Renzelmann and Amanda, Michelle and Kelly Saran (the girls); and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving father; her special aunt, Millie; and Millie’s husband, Unc (Elmo).
The family wishes to thank everyone for their kindness, with special thanks to St. Therese of the Child Jesus who helped us through. Now, you have won another soul.
A funeral Mass for Bev will be held at 6:30 p.m. today, April 29, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Jason Lavann will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of the 6:30 p.m. Mass on Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, because of her love of animals, donations are appreciated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County (HAWS), 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53187.
To all those concerned, sorry, “Bev’s Boot Camp” is now closed.
