Irene F. Spyhalski (nee Parzych)

Irene F. Spyhalski (nee Parzych) of Wales found eternal rest at the age of 91 on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at home in the arms of Donald, her beloved husband of 66 years.

Irene was born Feb. 2, 1918 in LaPorte, Ind. She worked alongside her husband at the West Allis IGA grocery store and Laundromat for over 30 years.

Irene will be dearly missed by her husband, Donald; brothers, Edward (Patricia) Paige and family, and Ben (Daisy) Parzych; nephews, Dale (Judy) Opat and family, Tom Paige, Dennis Paige and Bob Paige; and niece, Janet (Tom) Doyle and family. She is further survived by other wonderful relatives and neighbors.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass Wednesday, Aug. 5, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church in Pewaukee. Burial will be at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Milwaukee.
