Cameron Andrew Wagner

Dec. 3, 1990 - Aug. 1, 2009

Cameron Andrew Wagner, 18, a 2009 graduate of Kettle Moraine High School, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in the Green Bay area.

Cameron was given the gift of life Dec. 3, 1990, in Cincinnati and now is enjoying the gift of eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While celebrating the happiness that Cameron is undoubtedly experiencing, the loss of him here has left a gaping hole in the lives of his parents, Greg and Lorri Wagner of Delafield, and his brothers, Austin Kendal and Patrick Matthew Wagner. He also is survived and loved by his maternal grandparents, Forbes and Barbara Hotchkiss of Oconomowoc; paternal grandparents, Rodney and Billie Wagner of Owenton, Ky.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him terribly.

Cameron and his family were members of Oakwood Church in Hartland, where Cameron was active in youth group leading worship and participating in outreach programs. He had just returned from a missions trip in Costa Rica. Along with his many church activities, Cameron worked at Subway, played football and was a member of the KMHS jazz band and Wind Symphony. But what Cameron was most famous for was his wit and obvious affection for everyone he met - winning people over from 2 to 92 with the flash of his smile. He was planning on attending UW-Eau Claire in the fall.

The family will be receiving friends from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Oakwood Church in Hartland, as well as after the memorial service, which is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Oakwood Church - 3041 Oakwood Road, Hartland, WI 53029 - where a memorial fund is being established in Cameronís name. Their hope is that the work that he was so passionate about will continue in his memory.

Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral and Cremation Services, Oconomowoc, is serving the family. For more information, please call 567-4459 or visit
