Inez A. Golemgeske (nee Wallich)

Inez A. Golemgeske (nee Wallich), a lifelong resident of Waukesha, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at LindenGrove Health Care Center at the age of 95. Inez was born Sept. 14, 1913, the daughter of Herman and Minnie Wallich.

She was a longtime member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. Inez worked at General Casting from 1941 to 1946 and then International Harvester (now International Truck and Engine) on Perkins Avenue in Waukesha for 30 years. She enjoyed fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Lawrence Welk show.

Inez is survived by her nephew, Charles (Janice) Betker, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and sister, Myrtle Betker.

Inezís family would like to extend a special thanks to Pat Slane, Dorothy Graham, the Rev. Ralph Schultz and Jim Harris for their friendship and support, as well as the staff of Seasons Hospice and LindenGrove for their exceptional care of Inez.

A funeral service for Inez will he held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. A visitation also will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
