Ronald E. ĎRoní Jervis

Ronald E. "Ron" Jervis of Waukesha passed away peacefully in his wifeís arms at AngelsGrace Hospice on Aug. 26, 2009, at age 72.

He is the beloved husband of Mary (nee Woizeski); loving son of Florence Jervis; devoted dad of Deb (Dean) Fabritz and Greg (Lisa); special grandpa of Kayla and Stephanie Jervis; brother of Alec (Dot), Bob (Joanne), Steve (Sandy) and Brent; and also is survived by his sister-in-law, Kathy Cherry, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew.

Ron worked for 35 years at GE Medical Systems. He was an avid tree farmer and was passionate about his Hyde Farm. He was a member of WWOA, and a member and past president of the Wisconsin Walnut Council. Ron was also a member of IFMA, the ORI and the American Dowsing Society. Ron loved hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle, and he had a deep love and devotion for his special springer spaniels.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon service Saturday, Aug. 29, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (four blocks south of Interstate 94 at highways J and JJ).

The family owes a deep debt of gratitude to all of Ronís caregivers in the past months.
