Virginia L. ‘Ginny’ Wilson

Virginia L. "Ginny" Wilson of North Prairie died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. Ginny was born Dec. 27, 1943, the daughter of Harry and Millie Saxton.

On April 14, 1986, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Wilson. She was a collector of antiques, loved to travel, read and play video games. Ginny gave back to her community as a volunteer for the Waukesha County Meals on Wheels. Ginny’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ginny will be dearly missed by her husband, Bob; children, Michael Olson, Ginni Olson and Darcie (Dan) Powell; grandchildren, Rebecca, Richard, Lynaya, Tabbatha, Michael, Ashley, Matthew, Andrew (Mary), Adam and Nicolas; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary and Logan; and brothers, Wayne Saxton and James Saxton. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Beverley.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Dec. 6, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha.

Memorials are appreciated to the family to be donated to the charity of their choice at a later date.

Ginny’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the North Prairie Fire and Police Departments, the Delafield Paramedics, the Waukesha County sheriff and the Waukesha Memorial Hospital, as all of their help and support was extremely appreciated and will not be forgotten.
