Andrew "Drew" Arlin Saccomando of Mukwonago died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the precious age of 4 and a half months. Drew was born July 17, 2009, weighing only 1 pound 4 ounces, and fought every step of the way until he was welcomed home Oct. 18, 2009, by his parents, Jeff and Morgan (Meyer) Saccomando, and big brother, T.R. Drew, weighed more than 10 pounds at the time of his death Saturday.

Drew will be deeply missed by his parents, Jeff and Morgan Saccomando of Mukwonago; his big brother, Thomas Robert "T.R." Saccomando; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Anne Saccomando of Waukesha; maternal grandparents, Robert and Jane Meyer of Waukesha; greatgrandfather, Arlin Meyer of Sparta; great-grandmother, Margaret Salisbury of California; his aunt, Julie "JuJu" Saccomando of Milwaukee; his uncles, Daniel "Da" Saccomando of Waukesha and Bryan Meyer of Franklin; and his second family, the caring staff in the NICU at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral Mass on Thursday, Dec. 10, at St. James Catholic Church, 830 Highway NN East, Mukwonago. The Rev. Mick Savio will preside.
