Thomas ‘Corky’ F. Corcoran

Thomas ‘Corky’ F. Corcoran of Waukesha, surrounded by his family, died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 83. Tom was born Dec. 23, 1925.

On May 10, 1951, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Patricia (nee Warren). Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and received a Purple Heart for wounds sustained during his honorable service in World War II. He was also an active member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 294. Tom was a loyal and dedicated employee of Reliance Electric for more than 40 years. He was also a member of St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church.

Tom will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia; son, Michael (Tina) Corcoran, granddad of Tina Marie; son, Jeffrey (Luanne) Corcoran; and his daughter, Kathleen (Gary) Levenhagen, special Bapa of Hayley Ann. Tom is further survived by other relatives, friends and golf buddies.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.

Visitation will be held from 9::30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. memorial Mass with military honors Thursday, Dec. 10, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280-N2101 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee, WI 53072. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove (meet at the cemetery).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church (see address above) or AngelsGrace Hospice, W359-N7430 Brown St. (Highway P), Oconomowoc, WI 53066. The family would like to send special thanks to the staff of Wheaton Franciscan Home Hospice and AngelsGrace Hospice for their loving care and concern for Tom.
