Kay Heim May 19, 1936 - Jan. 27, 2009
On Nov. 28, 1959, she married Robert L. Heim at Our Saviorユs Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Kay was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and obtained a degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She began teaching at Summit Valley, a one-room school, and retired from the Arrowhead School District. Clowning was her favorite pastime. She belonged to C.L.O.W.N.S. Kay was a longtime member of Our Saviorユs Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Survivors include her husband, Robert; children, John (Lisa) of Tomahawk, David (Tammi) of Springfield, Mo., and Sandra (Matt) Aslakson of Sussex; and grandchildren, Alexis, Sam, Kylie, D.J. Heim and Brooke Aslakson. She is further survived by her sisters, Jane Fewer, Anita Metzen and Milly Utech and many friends. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 7, all at Our Saviorユs Lutheran Church, 145 Lisbon Road, Oconomowoc, with the Rev. Karen Natterstad officiating. Memorials are suggested to Our Saviorユs Lutheran Church Sunday School, the YMCA at Pabst Farms or AngelsGrace Hospice.
