Elmer A. Zellner

Elmer A. Zellner, 87, of Delafield, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Masonic Health Care Center. He was born April 4, 1921, in Milwaukee, to Julius Zellner and Hettie Kohler.
He married Margaret Heim on June 28, 1947, in Milwaukee. Elmer was an auto mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of Delafield American Legion Post 196 and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. He was a longtime member of the Delafield Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Paul (Jackie) Zellner, Donna Casper and Ramona Lynn Zellner; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dana Zellner.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 7, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 120 Nashotah Road, Nashotah, with the Rev. Michael Strachota officiating. Burial will be at St. Joan of Arc Cemetery.
Memorials would be appreciated to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church or the Masonic Health Care Center.
