Dale W. Green, 51, of Buffalo City, formerly of Waukesha, died Monday, Feb. 2, from injuries sustained as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born Feb. 2, 1958, in Waukesha, a son of Melvin Green and the late Doris (Draeger) Green. Dale attended and graduated from Waukesha South High School with the class of 1976. While residing in Waukesha, Dale was employed at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Dale was known for his great sense of humor, smart comment about something. But most of all, his grandchildren were the most important part of his life.
Dale will be sadly missed by his wife, Shelly of Buffalo City; four children, Denise Green of Milwaukee, William G. Green, Aaron Lapp of Buffalo City and Austin Green of Buffalo City; one son-in-law, Mark Krowski of Milwaukee; two grandchildren, Megan and Alex Krowski of Milwaukee; his dad, Melvin Green of Waukesha; three brothers, Gary (Becky) Green, Alan (Kris) Green and Todd (Lisa) Green, all of Waukesha; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Green.
A time of visitation and support for Dale's family was held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, 340 N. State Road 35, Alma, (608) 685-3294. Cremation was to follow the visitation.
Dale’s visitation will resume in Waukesha from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, 1220 S. Grand Ave.
