Lewis 'Short' Youngman

Lewis 'Short' Youngman of Waukesha passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at his home. Lewis was born July 27, 1915, in Tipton County, Ind., the son of John and Blanch (nee Duncan) Youngman.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Mary (nee Singrey).

Lewis served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a long-standing member of the American Legion in Walkerton, Ind. He was a proud Teamster who worked for Express Freight Lines for 30 years.

Lewis was the loving father of Michael (JoAnn) and Charles (Lori) Youngman. He also is survived by family and friends in both Indiana and Wisconsin.

The visitation for Lewis will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today, Feb. 10, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. The funeral service at the funeral home and entombment at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha, will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donorﾕs choice.
