Deborah Lee Sheppard

Deborah Lee Sheppard, 54, of Cassville, Mo., passed away at her home Friday, Feb. 6, 2009.

She was born in Watertown on June 8, 1954, the daughter of Harvey and Shirley (Hoffman) Freudenstein. She was united in marriage to Samuel H. "Sam" Sheppard on Dec. 17, 1982, in Waukesha.

She is survived by her husband, Sam, of Cassville; her parents, Harvey and Shirley Freudenstein of Dousman; and two brothers, Edward Freudenstein and his wife, Kathy, of Palmyra, and Richard Freudenstein and his wife, Sue, of Shell Knob, Mo.

Deborah received her education in Waukesha. She and Sam moved to Cassville in April 2008 to make their home and be close to her brother and family. Deborah worked at Efco in Monett, Mo., until her health declined. She liked to help people and enjoyed camping, four-wheeling and shopping. She was of the Methodist faith.

Her body has been cremated under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 at Siloam Methodist Church, highways CI and Z, Palmyra, with the Rev. William McBride officiating.
