William ‘Bill’ Hansel

William "Bill" Hansel of Waukesha died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at his home at the age of 80 years. Bill was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 28, 1928, the son of Chester and Margareth (nee Albert) Hansel. Bill loved to travel, fish, garden and visit art museums. He was an avid World War II buff. Bill especially loved spending time with his cats, Abigail and George. He will always be remembered for his mischievous nature and sense of humor.

Bill will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia Hansel; daughter, Elizabeth Hansel; and sisters, Judith Hansel and Jean Hansel. Bill is further survived by other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation for Bill will be held from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Nancy Anderson will be officiating. Burial will be in West Holden Cemetery, Wautoma.
